Karina Hiroshige Photography

I am a freelance photographer from Portland, Oregon, currently based in Rochester, New York. My interests fall in three main categories–healthcare, analytics, and design–all of which are tied to my passion for creativity.

My photographic style is heavily influenced by interactions between textures, shadows, and colors. I view the camera as a way to show what I notice about the world, whether that be distant smoke framing a silhouette or clovers elegantly poised on the forest floor.

Past projects have included work for hip-hop artist Redbeard Samurai, Education for a Peaceful Syria, Gray Booking Agency, and national hiring website Poached Jobs. I also do graduation portraits and professional headshot sessions.
